A dedicated leader in the mortgage industry with over 30 years of experience across retail, non-retail, and technology sectors, Larry is the Founder and CEO of Mortgage Workflow Partners Inc.
He specializes in optimizing workflows and technology for clients, firmly believing that Workflow Before Technology® is not just a slogan, but a guiding principle that ensures the most effective workflows are supported by the best technologies available.

Anna Bailey
Director of Marketing
Anna oversees connecting our audience with impactful content and resources. From running our social media platforms to managing videos for our YouTube channel, she focuses on developing innovative approaches to connect with our audience and build meaningful connections.
Anna also manages our community, Mastering Encompass®, where she ensures users have access to valuable insights, tutorials, and a supportive space to grow. When she is not curating content or building communities, you can find Anna exploring the outdoors, traveling, or playing video games.

Alex Elmendorf
Director of Client & Partner Help Desk
Born and raised in South Jersey, Alex graduated from Stockton University with her bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She began her career as a Loan Processor before joining Mortgage Workflow Partners, where she now serves as the Director of Client and Partner Help Desk. Always eager to learn, Alex completed Larry’s Mastering Encompass® Admin Certification and Coaching program to earn her certification. Alex loves interacting with clients and helping them to resolve workflow concerns.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and two dogs. In her free time, Alex enjoys snowboarding and going to the beach.

Kristen Taylor
Director of Client Projects
Kristen has spent 13 years in the mortgage industry, working in nearly every corner of the business, from closing and processing to originating loans and managing TPO operations. Most recently, she’s led a team of Encompass® administrators, serving as a strategic problem solver for executive leadership and driving technology solutions that make mortgage workflows more efficient and intuitive.
Her passion lies in optimizing mortgage technology to create a seamless, user-friendly experience that supports the way teams actually work, not the other way around.
When she’s not streamlining systems, you’ll find her outdoors on her family farm wrangling goats and her two young boys.

Kristie Unger
Workflow Documentation Specialist
Kristie has significant leadership experience in the mortgage and financial industry. Her mortgage background includes retail and wholesale in origination, operations, project management, product ownership, system implementation, and help desk support.
Kristie is a mother of four young adults and a new grandmother. She has several fur babies, including a Service Dog and a Therapy Dog. Kristie is also a certified Dog Trainer. She assists in the rehabilitation of dogs, general obedience training and service & therapy dog training.

Patti Massengale
Client & Corporate Support
Patti began her career as a Realtor with a strong work ethic, love of people and expertise in problem solving skills. Joining Mortgage Workflow Partners Client Support team was a natural fit.
Service-oriented, she has a natural desire to be helpful and is always eager for growth. Outside of work, Patti is passionate about volunteering in her community, fostering puppies, and spending time with her family and friends enjoying anything outdoors.

Brody Stejskal
Client Project Manager
As a dedicated Client Project Manager, Brody specializes in providing seamless project coordination and technical support to ensure the success of client initiatives. With expertise in Encompass® on the Web, DDM rules, and project management, he brings a blend of technical knowledge and organizational skills to every project.
Brody thrives in collaborative environments, balancing attention to detail with a focus on strategic outcomes, and is committed to ensuring that every project is completed on time and to the highest standards.

Karlin Swenson
Client Project Manager
Karlin has been in the Mortgage industry since 2009 and has been an Encompass® Admin since 2016. He enjoys working in Encompass and trying all the new features that come out each release.
He has worked on projects involving TPO Connect®, Optimal Blue EPC integration, hybrid closings with eNotes, and a total remake of workflows, including new milestones and implementing enhanced conditions.

Dana Duffy
Client Project Support
Dana has been in the Encompass® world for 11 years. He has also been in the Information Technology sector for over 20 years. He loves working with people and being around positive influences in his life. He also volunteers with the American Red Cross, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Dana has been in remission from Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma since 2018.
He lives with his wife, daughter, their Blue Merle English Bulldog named Doolie, French Bulldog Fonzie, and precious Pug Lucy. Dana loves to Fish, Travel and Cook. He especially loves to watch Husker Football!

Justin Andersen
Client Project Support
Justin is an experienced business and technology consultant with extensive Mortgage Operating System background. System Administration for a major bank and consulting on SaaS implementations for Mortgage lenders has been the better part of the last 12 years.
Justin has experience working with Waterfall and Agile strategies of implementation. Leading scrums and sprints as well as requirement sessions with key Stakeholders is part of our every day process. Working with the business to identify effective and efficient solutions to their business needs.

Jeff Welch
Client Project Support
Jeff brings over 12 years of experience as an Encompass® Administrator, with a strong focus on mortgage technology, workflow optimization, and system automation. A recipient of the KensieMae Award, he began his career at International City Mortgage (now Doorway Home Loans), where he led the transition from Calyx Point and Prolender to Encompass. Since then, he’s managed multiple implementations across the industry, specializing in custom input forms, advanced business rules, and integrations with tools like Optimal Blue and Fannie Mae.
He also brings extensive knowledge of TPO (Third-Party Originator) configuration and administration, helping ensure seamless experiences for both internal teams and external partners. At Mortgage Workflow Partners, Jeff continues to provide expert-level support and innovative Encompass solutions tailored to each client’s unique needs.

Michael Schroff
Client Project Support
Michael brings over 25 years of experience in Information Technology, Professional Services, and Project Management, with a strong focus on mortgage banking and fintech. His background spans roles such as Systems Engineer, Product Owner, CRM and LOS Administrator, and Encompass® Super Admin. Michael has deep expertise in optimizing workflows, leading cross-functional teams, and bridging the gap between business goals and technical execution.
He has worked extensively with ICE Encompass360 and related tools, including Consumer Connect®, TPO Connect®, and secondary/capital markets solutions. Michael’s strength lies in translating complex business requirements into scalable solutions, driving digital transformation, and delivering measurable results through agile methodologies.

Jennie Pellerito Backers

With over a decade of remote work experience and a strong foundation in Encompass® and LOS administration, Jennie brings a practical, solutions-focused approach to every project. She has had the privilege of working with outstanding teams across the mortgage industry, helping implement system efficiencies and supporting end users with empathy and precision.

Christopher Kerr

Chris is an accomplished professional with 10 years of experience in the mortgage industry, spending time in origination, processing and system administration. He is known for a strategic mindset and innovative problem-solving. With a background in both technical systems and team leadership, Chris also brings years of experience in vendor management, cross-functional training, and process improvement. Having proven successful in various roles within mortgage banking, Chris is now fully focused on delivering superior Encompass® management solutions.
Chris resides in the northeast with his fiancé Crystal and two dogs, Jackson and Daisy. He enjoys spending his spare time outdoors hiking, kayaking and golfing.

Jennifer Walters
Client Project Support
Jen has over 25 years of experience in the mortgage and fintech industries, specializing in Encompass® administration, configuration, and support. She draws on her experience as a former funder, underwriter, and QC/risk analyst to help clients optimize their workflows. She especially enjoys the process of solving technical issues and collaborating with teammates.
She enjoys learning and spends much of her free time taking courses to enhance her professional skills and to enrich her personal life. Her hobbies include word games and puzzles, arts and crafts, reading, hiking and swimming.

Maggie Rozell
Client Project Support
Maggie has worked in the mortgage industry since 2017 and brings a strong background in system analysis and workflow optimization. She specializes in helping clients understand and maximize Encompass® so that it integrates seamlessly into their day-to-day operations. Her ability to translate complex processes into simple, practical solutions has made her a trusted resource for lenders and teams looking to work more efficiently.
Outside of work, Maggie enjoys cooking and experimenting with new recipes. She treasures time with her husband and their lively household of five animals of two cats and three dogs.

As the author of a top-performing article on ICE Mortgage Technology’s Knowledge Base, he takes pride in simplifying complex systems and empowering others to succeed. Driven by a commitment to growth and collaboration, Ian brings passion and innovation to every project.
Outside of work, Ian enjoys gaming, reading, and being a loving, supportive father to his daughter.

Michelle Black
Client Help Desk
Michelle has been working in mortgage systems for the last 12 years and has spent the past 10 years helping to train teams and develop within Encompass®. She has experience in processing, disclosures, compliance, and understanding loan structures. She enjoys helping others, researching, and being in customer service. Michelle also has a basic understanding of web-based coding.
She’s a certified yoga instructor who loves CrossFit and baking. Food is her passion, so staying active is always a goal. Michelle shares her world with her husband and their black cat, Titan, named after Saturn’s moon.

Mical Philpot
Client Help Desk
Mical has been in the Encompass® space since 2020 and specializes in helping clients thrive by providing meaningful guidance to optimize workflow potential. He has also been involved in the Information Technology sector since 2016 and has a basic understanding of web-based coding and VB coding. He enjoys helping others achieve their goals and working in fast-paced, team environments.
In his free time, he participates in competitive jiu-jitsu and weight training, and he loves spending time with family. He enjoys a variety of video games, as well as spending time in nature, fishing, and camping.
